I am so tired of hearing the endless debates about addiction:
We could debate these matters forever and during that time we are helping no one. I don't care if it's a disease or a choice, I care that a five year old boy has to bury his mother. I care about the addict, and I care about the people who love the addicted person who are suffering too.
Instead of focusing on the past, why don't we direct our energy towards the future? Let's take the focus off the problem [finally] and shift it over to the solution.
